Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No. The quoting system requires only gender, date of birth, self-assessed health status, tobacco use, desired benefit amount, and preferred term. These six data points are sufficient to generate quotes. Detailed personal information and medical history are requested only when you elect to apply.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
These figures represent what each carrier would charge for the health classification you specified. After underwriting, the carrier determines your final premium and rate class, which may differ from the selected class. Nothing presented on this website constitutes an offer of coverage or a guarantee of any price.
What happens when I click Apply?
You supply your name and the application initializes from your selected quotation on the carriers' encrypted platform. Pausing to come back later is permitted; signatures are digital. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California entity (License 0B75129), manages applications.
Will I need a medical exam?
Exam necessity is carrier-, amount-, and response-dependent. Carriers with Immediate offerings may decide on the spot for qualified people; each quotation states whether an exam is mandatory, conditional, or waived.
Is a longer term better?
Coverage should extend through the period when your death would cause financial hardship: while a mortgage remains unpaid, children need support, or a business loan is outstanding. Extended terms command higher monthly premiums but lock in your rate for a longer span. The quote tool permits side-by-side comparison of 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30-year durations.
Does this site sell my information?
No. The quote tool gathers no contact information, we do not sell or disclose visitor information, and measurement occurs without cookies. Visit the privacy page for a comprehensive accounting of what is gathered and by which parties.
