No-exam life insurance
Learn who is eligible for expedited underwriting, the mechanics of how it operates, and your options if you do not meet the qualifications.
Today, numerous carriers provide fast-track underwriting: eligible applicants (within defined age brackets and benefit limits) receive decisions based on application data, prescription records, driving history, and other documented information without a medical exam. Determinations can arrive within hours. Every quote displayed here indicates whether an exam is mandatory, conditional, or unnecessary for that specific product.
What it changes
No-exam status does not bypass underwriting procedures. The information you supply is validated against other sources, and a policy based on inaccurate information can be challenged within the initial two-year window. The carrier may still require testing if its investigation uncovers concerns, at which time you can choose your next step.
Who tends to qualify
Generally, applicants around 60 or younger who are requesting benefit amounts within the carrier's no-exam threshold, with no significant past medical issues and no nicotine use within the past twelve months, qualify. Recent bloodwork from a doctor's visit can substitute for an exam at some carriers.
An exam, when necessary, commonly takes 20 to 30 minutes and is conducted by a paramedical specialist at your home or workplace in the Perris area with no charge. For healthy individuals, exam findings frequently result in a better rate classification, so the exam does not necessarily work against your interests.
